to electronically file Form W-2 may be interested to know that the SSA updated their web site and messed up at least some passwords.I changed my password in September so that I would not run afoul of the 1-year expiration time when I went to file my corporate Form W-2 (for my single employee) and Form W-3. Much to my surprise, I found that my login was rejected.
One phone call to the help center produced a suggestion that I use all lower case, even for my SSA-supplied PIN, now called the User Name. That did not work. I called back and was told to try my most recent old password. I did that and was able to log in - even with mixed lower and upper case.
