Adverse Mortgage... Which is the best one!

Jul 30, 2004 2 Replies

Hi, me and my partner have 2 credit card defaults on our name, hers is paid off. I'm still paying mine, its about 2 years old.

I have a house worth £100k and want to remortgage for £50k, I have a good steady job.

I have been looking around at: Bristol & West - 6.89% for 2 years with some fees paid back Birmingham & Midshires - 6.82% no fees paid back - would cost about £890 for the mortgage. Pink loans are about the same. Future Mortgages - GMAC, and First National all charge huge fees, for example £499 arrangement fee £295 valuation and then my legal costs of £350.

It all adds up very quickly, someone must know of a comany who charges less or does the remortgage for free.

Any help would be welcom.

Regards

Why not go to a broker. He'll be able to research it all properly for you.

This isnt particularly excessive for an adverse mortgage!
