Alternative postal services?

Can anyone recommend a courier other than Royal Mail, for sending such items as as ordinary letters, recorded small packets with contents valued at under 100? My small business is in danger if the strikes continue. Thanks

DHL perhaps. They will be more expensive than Royal Mail.

£31.40 seems to be the going rate for a letter. So you'd need to be pretty desperate.
