As a book addict the new offer of a master card from Amazon (linked with Halifax) that offered loyalty points to be converted into Amazon vouchers every time 1500 points was reached seemed like a dream come true.
They even offered 1500 points as a joining reward - and here is the rub. My first statement has just been received and it shows 1500 loyalty points were added to my account, then deducted as a £15 gift voucher was sent by email - but I never received the email - so hence no gift certificate. The telephone number they give on the statement to call with any query regarding loyalty points just gives a recorded message telling me to email Amazon.co.uk, but Amazon.co.uk do not reply to the email! Halifax don't want to know and I'm steaming angry!.....any ideas?
