Bank Credits

Do you actually mean "show up", or do you mean "become available"? I regularly see transactions showing on my Internet Banking service on a Saturday which are due on, and dated as, the following Monday.

I don't think there is any fixed time of day. It depends on the individual bank and what type of credit it is that's applied to the account. A cash deposit at the same branch of the same bank will show up immediately with some banks.

Depends on the bank. With Lloyds TSB, usually immediately. Natwest, usually the following day.

At HSBC cash only credits show up immediately if done at the counter (if you use a paying in machine they either show when it is emptied usually about every 1.5/2 hours, or one of the new ones will do it immediately) if you pay in cash and cheques on the same credit slip the cash will be available from the next day, and the cheques as usual though the clearing system. Electronic credits are shown on an HSBC account as soon as HSBC receive the instruction.
