Does anyone know where I might find a directory or listing of banks that have energy departments/groups

What do you mean? Are you talking about environmental responsibility and energy/waste management?

I mean banks that either lend to energy/oil related companies on a straight debt basis or project non recource basis.

Also banks with investment analyst's i.e analysists who follow particular energy related companies for the equity markets.

I'm not sure but you may be looking for an ethical bank. The co-op market themselves as this but in my view banks lend to so many different people, groups and companies that it impossible to find someone who only does business with your favoured sectors.

If you want to invest in certain types of companies you are better choosing the companies yourself and purchasing their shares rather than trawling for a fund that only comes close to what you want.
