The last time I looked a pretty good deal was Safeways. They are offering 4.15% and the details can be found on the following link,

Cheltenham & Gloucester are the best for consistently good rates. Others will offer higher rates from time to time.
I use uk.finance.yahoo.com to check these things out.

site shows front page rates which do not correspond to the actual offers when you look at them With those extra fractions of a percent I can now afford a pint of beer
Interesting how when you follow the link for the ISA stating 4.15% that it then comes on screen and says 3.95% pa/AER. In the disclaimer notice below it says the above rate is correct as at 01/12/03.
