It looks like the poor will need to work harder to earn enough to eat, or they could always borrow money. However, Mexico may start subsidies, for political stability.

However, the price of oil is falling so that it is just cheaper than alternatives, which looks like a free market working.

the fossil fuel industry is heavily externalising its costs

the market isn't working... meanwhile the squeeze on food is growing rapidly

you must solve the energy problem or 100s of millions will die..... that means nuclear power now....

and several other changes..... housing standards must be much improved....

as for oil it was driven up on speculation and is now correcting.... and the western summer is approaching....with higher temperatures in many areas....

fossil fuel usage at its present levels with present methods is unsustainable....

meanwhile the m.e. is totally dependent on imported food.....

regards....

Bio fuels are unnecessary. If we lick enough Saudi asshole and suck enough Saudi c*ck, we won't have oil problems. Bush knows that, it forms the major pillar of his energy policy.
