My wife swears by Marks & Spencer, for some reason they usually take an inordinately long to post the debit to her Marks's card account, usually missing the next statement. But the price is good also.
My son says for some reason the Post Office were cheapest when he came to renew his car insurance this week. ??

I know it's not an answer to the question as put, but you'll probably find you'll get more dollars per £ if you were to draw them from an ATM in the US. Particularly if you use a Nationwide CC - see previous postings in this ng from a few months ago.
