I am seriously considering a change of career and becoming a Financial Advisor or at least a Mortgage Consultant. My dilemma is that I can't afford a drop in salary during training. If successful in this new career I know the rewards can be high.
I would like to hear from anyone who has taken the plunge and left a safe, salaried environment and become a Financial Advisor. What were your experiences both career and financially? Was it worth it? Did it work out? I would like to hear all aspects good or bad.
