Is there any companies that dont verify your employer you list on the application? I know most ask for this info but I'm sure a lot wont check. I just got sacked from my job and I need to open a new credit card or I wont be able to pay my bills. I have a new job lined up but I need this in the meantime.

I dont know but it's a risk. Ask if you can increase limits on cards you have or ask your bank.
I don't believe that any of them actually verify your employment details.
I got a card with a 7K limit from Egg a month after I was sacked, using the old employers details. I placed 10K in a savings account I had with them to help them make up their minds . I don't know how they check up on employer details automatically, like they can your credit file - I don't believe there's a central register as services which run credit checks and claim to check employers details (eg
Only Gold/Platinum cards will bother to do this.
