How to know if a cash drawer is open

Sep 27, 2006 4 Replies

Hi group I?m new in this group, and I dont know if this question was posted before. There is any way to know if the cash drawer that is connected to a Epson TM-T88III printer is open? My problem is that I need to control my sales, I mean if the cash drawer is open the POS system wont make any sale until the cash drawer is closed.

Thanks, I hope you undestarnd my question.

in the Register Properties, Cash Drawer Tab, check the "Wait for drawer to close" check box. Is that what you were asking?

Juan,

SO Manager | Database | Registers | Register List | select the register that has the drawer | Cash Drawer1 or 2 tab | check Wait for drawer close

You must use the OPOS drivers for the receipt printer and cash drawer.
