Cash drawer won't open

make sure you enter the same name in rms, caps matter.

Jd I have same drawer and Epson printer and working fine for me. On the register list/ Cash Drawer 1 make sure you have checked mark on CASH DRAWER 1 IS ENABLED FOR THIS REGISTER. and copy and paste Opos device name from Epson Opos.

Have you tried to contact the customer support team? I have used them many times and they are very helpful. They have different levels of support members to help even the most complicated questions and problems regarding their POS Software.

Hi JD, Question Are you using the correct epson drawer kick cable? This should be CD-005A. if you have attached any other cable to the drawer kick you have shorted out this portion of the printer. IF drawer kick is not shorted out forget opos and go to add printer and when you are asked for type of printer choose generic then choose generic text only. after "generic text only" printer has been installed right click on this printer icon and choose "properties" choose printer preferences then choose document settings. you will see a "cash drawer command entry position.
