I rarely use cheques from my current account, but when I do, I normally have to use my cheque g'tee card which comes with the said current account.
Now, I have recently had my Barclaycard upgraded from Gold to Platinum. So I now have a credit card which is also a cheque guarantee card (up to £100). I assume this means I can guarantee a Barclaycard cheque if I wanted to (I don't). Could I also guarantee a cheque from my Lloyds TSB current account with my Barclaycard? (Or even my Barclays current account?) If this is the case, what is stopping me guaranteeing a Lloyds TSB cheque with a Barclays current account (Visa Delta) cheque g'tee card?
