Companies House Filing Costs double

Surely it doesn't have to be an employee's card. It can be a director's, or a shareholder's, or an accountant's, or, well, anybody's really. There can be no shortage of people willing to perform this favour for a fee less than £15.

If the Directors of the company never, ever used their own money for paying an expense (e.g even parking costs) and then claiming the cost back, then yes it is unfair.

If on the otherhand the Directors have an expense reclaim system in place, using their own credit or debit card is no problem at all.

Not only that - the online filing system saves you posting and copying the document you update - further cost savings.

I've never copied mine, have I been doing something wrong?

I don't know - do your Company rules require you to take a photocopy of any forms returned to Companies House (or the Inland Revenue etc.) and you haven't?

Seems to me quite a difference between paying for parking or some sundry expense and paying for the one thing that is the essence of the limited company's registration.

Well money would be saved by paying by on-line banking (both PAYE and VAT can be paid this way). The return is printed out and filed so no saving on copying here.
