Current Account with 3 holders

I'm struggling to find an interest bearing current account, with a UK bank which will allow three named people on the account. The account holders will be related, but not living at the same address. The ability to manage the account over the internet would be very useful, but not essential. Interest rate on balance could be nominal, but obviously the higher the better.A cheque book is required. An overdraft facilty is not required, neither is a debit card; a cash card could be useful, but not essential.

My enquiries so far have found banks which allow three holders, but they must be at the same address, or a maximum of two account holders.

Any advice please!

Form a society or club and open an account in its name. You three could be chairman, secretary, and treasurer. It is normal for committee members of clubs to live at different addresses. The statement address could be that of the treasurer.

The only downside is that you might need to concoct a constitution, a copy of which is to be lodged with the bank. Let your imagination run riot. How about a pigeon-hole fanciers' club?

Perhaps approach from a different direction. My parents have a joint account with Barclays (they live overseas and get statements posted to that address). I was added as a third-party authority with full access to the account, get copy statements to my UK address etc. The only thing they can't do is give me an Internet code for the account yet - their systems don't support it yet. So I use Mum's!
