Saving account wtd for 3 names

Jan 03, 2006 3 Replies

I've been searching without success for a savings account (UK) where I have three people as the holders (trustee's). Most only seem to allow two names. Especially if looking for a good interest rate.

Can be a postal account. Can be max of 30 day notice Above standard (poor) interest rate.

TIA for any help

John

Surely for an organisation, the account can be in the name of the organisation, or in the name of "trustees of blah blah balh", and then there can be any numbr of signatories.

It is not necessary for the signatories or trustees all to be named as account holders.

From a logical, sensible and common sense point of view your are right. Sadly some organisations dont have sufficient available fields on the input screen and the computer says..........

Most savings accounts are designed for individuals or couples, and are simply not available to organisations. If you haven't already try Alliance and Leicester or Standard Life bank business savings, both of whom offer reasonable rates if they will take you on.
