Debit Cards for Charities

Apr 20, 2007 2 Replies

Is there an expert out there who can point me in the right direction to apply for a bank account which has debit cards available and free banking facilities for a registered charity ?

Our current bank (HSBC) cannot issue debit cards under our Treasurer Account and a debit card would make it much simpler to pay some of our bills - especially when purchasing online or at supermarkets. This is becoming even more of an issue now some companies are no longer accepting cheques.

HSBC have been unable to offer me an alternative account hence my plea for help here.

Thanks in advance

Kevin

I'd try the Co-op bank. Try these links:

LTSB will offer a debit card but they don't pay any interest on any credit balances on their Treasurer's account.
