I have just noticed a regular DD of 5.99 to Homecare Insurance for 5.99 First Direct tell me thats the company name and are based in Aldgate Pk, York. The only insurance I have are Car, House and Life so I'm wondering who has managed to slip one past me..

British Gas have a 'Homecare' insurance - it covers stuff like your boiler going poof, and annual servicing of it.
My guess is Mobile phone ins. Did you start a new mobile contract a few months ago, and the 3 months "free" insurance period has now expired?
I think Norwich Union do Homecare insurance.
