I have compliand about being mis-sold 3 endowments and have won all 3 cases against Standadd life and Nationwide.
Now - they have quote an amount to sell up the plans the now with extra to meet the amount I would have got with a repayment. In all cases - they that amount id not great, yet they still send me warning letters I will be like £20K short overall when they come to pay out in 10 years.
Anyway - I would like to see what the cost of selling the endowment policies to another company and not just back to standard life - and see if I can get a better offer.
There is loads of companies out there so though the group can advise on experience and knowledge on best companies to approach.
