I was wondering if anyone can help me. I need to find out if there is a way of finding out personal financial situation, i.e. stocks, bonds, investments or assets that a person has.

Yes - I think you will find that if you ask them nicely they may be willing to share this information with you. They may, of course, turn around and tell you to mind your own bl@*dy business!
