Can anyone recommend a a provider of a FT250 Tracker Fund ?

I can find Ft100 Trackers, and UK All share Trackers, but its the250 I think will perform best, but google has let me down looking for a provider.

Bitstring , from the wonderful person Rich said

Not a tracker as such, but JPMF's Mid-Cap investment trust (among others) may meet your needs.

Also the Schroder UK Mid-250 unit trust - actively managed, but it has a good track record. Bear in mind that the mid-250 has outperformed the FTSE by a big margin recently, so it's possible the gap will close somewhat. Also bear in mind that a true tracker will have relatively high dealing costs, given that companies entering and leaving the FTSE have fairly high weights.

Check out the Motley fool web site. They have a list of every tracker in the UK along with details, charges etc.

Have a look at the HSBC one, 0% initial, 3/4% annual.

I just read that as 3 or 4% annual and just had to log on to check it out

Most 250 index funds will be listed in the performance tables -

Barclays Global Investors have a FTSE 250 Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) planned, which is likely to be the cheapest way to invest.
