Headline rate of inflation for the past 5 years , what has it been !

Hi , i wonder if someone could help me out here , basically we have a rent review coming up (once every five years) we've been there for 4 years and its part of the lease that the propertys rent review is increased based on "The headline rate of inlflation"

so as i imagine you've guessed its a bit like :-

rent remains the same for 5 years then each five years the rent increase is worked out based on the headline rate of inflation been added per year to come to the new rent.

year 1 + "The headline rate of inlflation" year 2 + "The headline rate of inlflation" year 3 + "The headline rate of inlflation" year 4 + "The headline rate of inlflation" year 5 + "The headline rate of inlflation"

but my main question is what has been the headline rate of inflation for the past 5 years ?!

TIA

Why do you think RPI is the 'headline' rate ?
