Can only speak from experience but i had a Hoover acquavac (cleans everytihng) on which the motor packed up after nearly three years. I phoned and even though i didnt have a receipt,they took the serial no of the appliance and ascertained the purchase date from that. They sent their man out to fit the new free motor and the labour charge was very reasonable..
