Interest charge on current account...

The last time I used my agreed overdraft facility on a current account was back in November, when I went overdrawn to the tune of 300 and was charged interest for its use to the tune of approx 7. At the end of the month I then was able to bring the account back in credit and it has consistently been in credit to the tune of between approx 800 and 100 since then.

However each month since I have been getting small debits of a couple of quid or so from the account, listed only as "Interest" presumably as an interest charge for the use of the agreed overdraft facility? Surely since I cleared the overdraft months ago, any interest charges for its use should have been levied in that month? Or is it normal to spread these out over time?

Have you drawn out uncleared funds?

No uncleared funds, account is credited via cash.

Well, I thought I'd ask here to see if it was normal practice.
