Usually you expect door knockers to be double glazing but this week had a guy an Investment Rep from Edward Jones at the door selling his services. Is this common.

. EJ are relatively new in the UK - I hadn't heard of them until they approached my previous company for a joint venture. The business is quite novel and aggressive.

I work with someone that used to be a door knocker for EJ. Quite high commission targets, hence high pressure sales.
I don't think they are able to complete a transaction in the first visit, but are known to revisit a house within minutes.
