Looking for a quotation

Nov 19, 2008 1 Replies

I'm looking for a quotation I most likely read in an article on credit bubbles. It runs something like:

"There's nothing so troublesome to a man as the sight of his neighbour getting rich".

Does anyone by any chance know it? I could use it for an article.

Thanks

Not really an answer but to paraphrase from Mark Twain "a banker is someone who gives you an umbrella when its sunny but grabs it back as soon as the first suggestion of a cloud appears"
