Ok to let someone else use cashcard regularly?

My son lives some distance away. I've given him the cashcard to a current account I never use. When I want to gift him money, I put it in the account and he draws it.

He now thinks some withdrawals may be incorrect on the statement and would like to check them.

If I ask the bank to check then will they get upset with me for letting someone else use the cashcard?

Yes they will. This is against the T&Cs of the card. They will not even consider your complaint.

Not if you don't tell them! It's clearly against the rules, so if they find out they won't be happy.

A far better way is to do an online transfer into your son's account for him to draw out using *his* card. Or you may even be able to get him issued with a card on your account - depending on the type of account - and withdrawals made by him, using that would legit. To do that, you may possibly have to have it converted into a joint account in your and his names.
