Online self-assessment

The Inland Revenue's self-assessment website doesn't handle Capital Gains, but it says you can use "commercial software, some of which is free" instead of theirs.

Does anyone know of some software that we can use that does handle Capital Gains, and which is free or fairly cheap?

I had the same problem. There is one bit of software from the IR list that is actually a very complex spreadsheet but presented so that it is fairly easy to see what needs filling in. It costs 7 or 7.50 for an unlock code to allow electronic filing. I used it as a cross-check against a different bit of software but did not file electronically with it.
