ONS launches personal inflation rate calculator

I work and my 'personal' inflation peaked at over 8%! My income is above the national average so we are not winners here.

I notice that the BBC did several case studies and they _all_ came out higher than the official inflation figure. I wonder who wins overall?

Someone who spends a huge amount of their income on foreign holidays, (made in china) consumer goods, and electronic appliances of all kinds.

I don't have a mortgage, that helps, and I only drive about 5-6000 miles a year. My only weakness is ALDI and LiDL and their bloody electronic gadgets!
