OT- The ECB (English Cricket Board) and Alan Stanford

Feb 18, 2009 1 Replies

There are complaints in the media that the ECB was at fault here for not properly performing due diligence before accepting his millions.

If the US Bank regulators didn't notice any irregularity, how was the ECB supposed to see it?

Just wondering

The media is mostly paid by selling advertising and whatever nonsense they have to pay for to put between the adverts, whether it be complaints about Stanford or horoscopes or crossword puzzles, is the just the bait they need to attract mice like you whose demographics can be sold to the advertisers and their agents. So be a good reader/viewer/listener, eat your cheese of complaints and stop disturbing the system. And when you next start some thread about a named person, please spell their name correctly.
