As this *isn't* a "web forum" I don't really see how you can find 'other' web forums.

It's not that difficult to answer a simple question.

Here's one I use.

I was trying to ensure that any answer would actually be what was wanted. If someone says "I want an X like this Y then it seems not unreasonable to ask whether he really wants a Y or an X.

But maybe what is wanted is something with a text interface, or something else that Usenet offers but a web forum doesn't. For example a miling list *might* be much more like what is being looked for.

Am I looking in the wrong place or is this not a UK forum?
