Questions.

Hi,

I am based in the UK and am getting confused with what the follwing instruments are and what (if any) is the difference between them?

Cashier's check

Money Order / International Money Order

Banker's Draft / Interational Banker's Draft

And let's say I wanted to send a check in dollars to America for say $50? How would I go into any large bank and ask for this as one of the above options? Would I need to be a customer of the bank?

Thanks, all.

Does anyone know what these definitions mean?

Dunno, but I have used IMO's before to send money abroad, so that seems what you are looking for (AFAIK its really just an international cheque) but I really wouldnt bother for $50, its not very cost effective as you are likely to be charged at least a tenner to get one issued.
