Did anyone hear todays You and YOurs - and if so has anyone links or information on the two web sites they gave where you can look up the property sale prices of houses in UK (one of which is offereing free access uintil Feb).

They've even been nice enough to provide a clip of that segment.
Hopefully, even if they don't give the URLs on air, they'll give the company names, and you can Google for the URLs.

Thanks for that - ourproperty.co.uk was just what I was looking for, but here is a peculiar thing.....I looked up 5 house sales that were made in the last 4 years in our local area, gave me the sale price on all of them no problem - BUT then I tried to look up 3 other sales, all 3 of which were sales of council houses to existing tenants, and there is no record of any of those...odd - or am I missing something simple here? do the land registry log sales of council houses to sitting tenants in a different way to other sales?

Dunno but I doubt it, unless it was a partial purchase - I've forgotten the name for those. I don't think that makes any sense though as it still has to be registered, same as any other joint purchase.
