Correct. I don't have to have a TV even!

The current one was £126.50

What will it be next year

About £131 I believe

and the year

Rather less than that, because my 75th birthday will fall in November

2008, so I will pay about 2/3 of what the licence costs.

, and the year after, without end?

Yippee! I get a free licence!

Mine's free because I get the Beeb via my satellite dish somewhere near the Mediterranean coast :-).

Yeah, I do feel a bit guilty - especially as the license fee is so damn expensive - must go to pay Jonathan Woss.

I despair at what some are paid out of the fee, but at around £11 per months it isn't so bad value.

Next year I pay about 7/12 of the fee. This year the full amount. I suppose they assume that after 75 we are too decrepit to do anything other than watch TV. 8-(
