I'm in the same boat. I've just got a job contracting for the first time and need to know who the best company is to organise my pay through - as in which one gives me the greatest takehome pay.

I've been given 3 by my agency, Orange & Gold, website

I've phoned around them all and based on £25per hour, 37.5 hour week, and expenses of £180 travelling, £125 subsistence and £25 incidentals each of the above have quoted weekly take home pay of -

Orange & Gold, £654 Giant, £777

Quite a wide variation as you can see.

As you can imagine each one talks themselves up but as a beginner to this I can't tell who's bluffing and who's genuine.

Giant acheive their takehome rate by treating me as "passing IR35", paying me £5 per hour and then a dividend for he rest of my pay giving a takehome of £777, whereas 360-hyperlink say I will fail IR35 and leave myself with a potential tax bill plus 100% fine if I go down the giant route.
