that and being on the same team as Zinedine Zidane and Thierry Henry...a smart move on the part of any defender...there are only a few that good in every generation...the French currently have two...you don't beat them, you just try to stop the ball going anywhere near them and hope that when it does they are unlucky or off the boil

the scary thing is the players the French have coming through at youth and U21 level...Meghni, Bourgougnoux and Mexes might be in the same league as Zidane, Henry and Desaiily...except that this time all three are pretty much the same age, and they'll hit their prime whilst Henry is still at he top level

and how do the do it?...spending money on coaching them and not selling off every single open space that kids could play football on so that expensive unwanted offices can sit empty
