In the UK the use of 'money laundering' is a standard excuse used by banks. I suspect in 95% of cases it is bank short hand for "You are poor, we will never make a profit out of you, so bugger off. Yes, we know the only money laundering you might do is if you find a dropped fiver in the street. Now bugger off." Axel
