If you criticise your imbecile boss, you might lose your own Nulabour NON-JOB and inflation--proof pension, so you never correct your imbecile boss when he makes that type of moronic decision, like sending Romanians to Northern Ireland in large numbers.................. and so everything goes spinning out of control because all that matters to "public servants" is preserving their Nulabour NON-JOB by never criticising their imbecile boss.

The way it works in one of these usless quangoes [=nulabour non-job promotion schemes] is as follows.

Some brain-dead s**te is an exceptionally favoured nulabour crony, and s/he is promoted vastly beyond her/his abilities.

Then the brain-dead s**te starts making mistakes in a job for which s/ he is not qualified.

Then, the other non-jobbers around her/him are paralysed.

If they correct their bosses mistakes they risk losing their nulabour non-jobs and inflation-proof pensions for doing nothing.

So they don't correct their imbecile bosses in these nulabour quangoes and government departments [=NON-JOB CREATION SCHEMES = UNEMPLOYABLE BUMS GETTING A HIGHER RATE OF WELFARE AND A HIGHER PENSION THAN OTHER UNEMPLOYABLE BUMS]....................
