Recommend a good free stock charting website?

Hi Group,

I currently use iii.co.uk and Euroland to get my data on stocks on the LSE, stuff like historical price charts and other key figures.

iii.co.uk's charts are dreadful as they don't have vertical rules and I'm sometimes interested in prices on exact dates like seeing how much a share dropped after a profit warning on a given date. Euroland's are alright but it doesn't provide data for all the dates especially if you go back far enough (the chart's price ticks are supposed to be daily but exact prices are quantified less frequently when you hover your mouse over them).

So basically I'm looking for a website which has: #1 Nice big, clear graphs with vertical rules #2 Historical data stretching back at least several years (Euroland's goes back 8 years) #3 Data available on stock prices on any specific date stretching back several years.

Thanks for any suggestions.

That's very helpful. I often need info on fixed interest securities and index yields. For some reason, that's much harder to come by than equity info. Does anybody know a source, please?

Thanks! Very handy....sorry for the late reply. I've been using Digital Look as they do have an excellent search & filter facility.

I'm also quite happy Lloyds TSB is doing well :-D
