Just had a self assessment statement come in the post and see I managed to c*ck up my January self employment payment. Overpaid by£1300. Can't quite make out if they automatically send the over payment back or if I have to ask for it back? Is it worth getting back to put in savings account for a few months or what?

Can you find an IA account paying better than 0%? :-(
