Yahoo Finance have a set-up into which you can put the shares you are interested in - "My Portfolio" and watch their prices change every minute or so. Would that suit your needs, I wonder? Go to

Thanks DB, but that is not quite what I'm after. I actually use the London Stock Exchange site which provides much the same thing. However, if a share goes up and down wildly for a period of time then goes up and down less so, its volatility will have gone down. I would like an ongoing measure of this.
The reason for this is that I day-trade. At the moment I am using Lloyds Banking Group but recently the volatility is so low that it's not possible to make a profit between the highs and lows. So I want to be able to measure the volatility of other shares to see which ones to move into.

HATH,
Thanks for that link - brilliant stuff.

Ricardo, the guy's name is DB, not HATH. HATH is an abbreviation, which I guess stands for "Hope All This Helps".
It was actually a typo. I'd intended to type the readily-recognised "HTH".
