Can anyone please advise as to the pros and cons of a "special needs" trust, as all there seems to be available is the usual "best thing since sliced bread" blurb from the people who set them up. The money invested will be from an award for personal injury, and we are aware of the state benefits position. We are just wondering if anyone has any experience of them and could maybe point out some of the pitfalls we may encounter.
