Sr. Manager, Financial Services

Our organization is retained by one of the largest banking and financial services organizations in the world, with over 218,000 employees in 76 countries. They are one of the United States' largest issuers of private label and general-purpose credit cards. We are currently supporting the hiring efforts for the North West. We have multiple positions, however at this time, this particular position is very niche' in industry expertise. We are seeking five plus years in Financial services specific to credit cards and at the level of managing teams cross functionally. Including but not limited to marketing. Prefer candidates culturally from large banking institutions and corporate executive experience with a proven track record of building models to support the variances analysis, NVPs and vintage archives based on trends within the organizations. Responsibilities · Provide strategic counsel with his/her business partners, including but not limited to Marketing and Risk. · Lead, manage, develop, motivate and ensure the training of his/her staff, maximizing their value to the organization while providing for professional growth and career development. · Ensure consistent forecast and analysis quality from the credit card services industry. · Ensure deadlines are met. · Make presentations to Senior Management. · Proactively seek ways to improve our methodologies, processes and procedures in order to meet the evolving strategic and tactical needs of the organization. · Manage, assign, and review ad hoc projects for the business unit and occasionally across broader financial lines.

Educational preference: MBA is preferred. Seven or more years of business in credit card services, experience is required in a sr. financial discipline including time spent in financial analysis, forecasting/modeling and vintage analysis. At a minimum, the candidate must have a high level of understanding of financial forecasting/modeling and vintage techniques with a proven record of being able to employ innovative solutions to forecasting, modeling and analyses challenges. This person must have a demonstrated aptitude working with different levels of management across multiple functional units.
