It would appear that morons from Asia are spamming UK newsgroups.
Isn't it about time that we have a separate internet for these morons? Let them spam each other and deny them access to the serious internet.

You can use a news proxy like "Newsproxy" or "Hamster" to filter out most of the usenet spam.

You should filter out anyone who posts via Google - they cannot be serious about using newsnet.

Exactly, I was using Forte Agent but when I had to reinstall all my programs I made my usual attempt to reduce the number of programs and thought I'd try google. Although I've now installed Forte Agent again it seems easier to use google groups for the limited time I use usenet.
