I am a UK citizen in the UK. I have been given shares in a Canadian company and have been sent the certificates.
I want to give one of the certificates to a friend in Canada. To do so I must sugn the back of the cert. and have the signature guaranteed by a Canadian bank (we think). Are we correct? Are there any Canadian banks in the UK who could do this? Are there any alternatives?
