UK Banking law for INGDirect type banks

and EGG i guess



I know there are certian "rules" in place for high street banks if they go bankrupt



but for ING for instance (i know they are a bank overseas) what would happen ?



and EGG and many others - where would the consumer be left ?

They are members of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, and you get the same rights as with the high street banks.
