VAT INVOICE

I shan't pretend to understand you question but the answer, or part of it, may lie within

possibly in section 16.

Thanx for your help. I wanted to find typical VAT invoice with typical invoice phrases. I know, how the invoice looks like, but only with Polish names. That is why I wanted to find any expressions in English!

all you need to include for a VAT invoice:

1. traders VAT number
2. amount
3. amount of vat (and rate)
4. amount including vat
5. date

there isn't any special wording required...

As the basis I have Polish VAT invoice...

So all the expressions I have to translate...

why not just post it on a site and put the URL here, so if ur unsure of errors, people can point them out for you ?

Being honest, no it isn't good enough. It is hoever infinitely better than my Polish. If you intend to trade regularly with English speaking countries then it is in your interest to engage a native English speaking translator.

Having documents written in poor English will alienate your customers. Just as having documents written in sub-standard Polish would alienate my customers in Poland, if I had any.

I trade in the UK, Switzerland, France, Italy and Germany. I always obtain versions of my document which are translated by native speakers of the language which ensures a good presentation for the customer.

With Polish, you are in luck because the UK has a sizeable number of families who originally immigrated from Poland, particularly in the NorthWest of England. It should be easily possible to find someone who speaks English as a native and Polish fluently enough to communicate with you.

Is it? That makes me sad :( Why do you think so? Because I am asking for help?...

I've already made the translation. My partner in USA accepted it. I used web pages and some books I have in office.

There is a new EU directive in force 1 Jan 04 which list which details are now required on VAT invoices.
