He has been getting pretty serious about doing something. My accountant reckons he will put employer's NIC on dividends - unless the shareholding is below say 10-20%.
I am planning to declare a divi which would soak up the entire retained profits, take the normal tax hit on it, in the hope that such a measure would not be retrospective on divis declared (if not necessarily drawn) before the budget.
