Insured my car fully comp about 2 months ago



Lorry just wrote it off (no witnesses)



Bought almost identical replacement



Will i have to re-insure for another year (lose 10 months insurance)?


Don't think so. Ring your assurance company, (whom I assume already know about this disaster?), and ask them to transfer the new vehicle onto the original policy. If your fully comp there should be no problem.

Great - i only got the replacement car today but cant contact insurers (Swift Cover) until tomorrow - cheers

Managed to change my car details online and actually got £1.70 refund :o)
